Preliminary March 2009 Asheville NC Real Estate Sales Numbers

The preliminary numbers for the Asheville Real Estate Market indicate that although the total volume numbers continue to drop the average list and average sales prices remained stable compared to March 2008.

National Association of Realtors Existing Home Sales Report

The National Association of Realtors released their existing home sales report today. Nationally sales for February were up 4.4% compared to January 2009 but were still down 3.6% from February 2008. Asheville Existing Home Sales Down

The North Carolina Association of REALTORS released their existing home sales report today.

The most unexpected part of the report had Asheville's existing homes average sale price rise 8% to $309,770.





More in line with what we have come to expect lately was the number of existing homes sold fell 49% to 90.
And the total dollar volume dropped 45% to $27,879,361.

Asheville Real Estate Market continues to drop

The Asheville Real Estate Market continues to drop. 3-1-2009.
An early look at the numbers for the Asheville Real Estate Market for February 2009 shows that the total number of homes sold and the average sale price continues to drop year over year for February.
