The Forbes 2009 rankings has Asheville NC ranked 6th in the nation for "The Best Places For Business And Careers". North Carolina took 3 of the top 6 spots and 6 of the top 19 spots. Raleigh ranked #1, Durham ranked #3, Asheville ranked #6. Wilmington, Winston-Salem and Charlotte were also in the top 2o.
